Entire kitchen remodel

This was a big job over a couple of months. The couple wanted a lovely family kitchen with space for everyone to eat. We took out the existing kitchen, most of the internal walls ad plaster, made good the floor, knocked out a wall into the living room and added a steel support (in conjunction with a structural engineer) to make the kitchen that little bit bigger. The electrics were all re-done and signed off. Then we fitted the kitchen (supplied by Howden’s Belmont, Durham) and a great kitchen island with a solid oak worktop and jet black sink and tap, finished in Oslo PolyX Oil. All the finishing details were completed, including routing bespoke door architraves to match existing ones, as they were no longer available, and laying LVT flooring. All in all, a very pleasing, beautiful kitchen.
