Bespoke sofa shelf

Unused space can be annoying, but filling it with something interesting was what this couple wanted; something that followed the curve of the sofa but was unobtrusive, beautiful, and useful. We used solid oak worktops, and mdf templates and flush trim router bits to create a subtle curved shelf, supported by legs to create different storage spaces, and classy brass inserts to feed the electrics up onto the shelf. Finished in Oslo PolyX Oil, and very much enjoyed and used.
