City Centre Class - bespoke bar

We were asked by this family to create a bar in an alcove of the living room to help them entertain and enjoy relaxed evenings in front of the fire. We started with the space from scratch, built it out with a strong frame and moisture resistant mdf (thank you Arbor Timber), pitch blue cabinets from Howdens Belmont, Durham, and a built in fridge, and finished off with a solid oak countertop, and solid oak shelves for bottles and glasses, treated with Oslo PolyX Oil. There were some bespoke panels to create to maintain access to wiring and suchlike, and then treating and painting so the bar blended into the living room. Sláinte.
